1. Play the audio
2. In Expstudio Audio Editor's Edit View, choose File > New (Ctrl+N) to create a new, empty waveform.
3. Click Recording tab to select recording source, volume etc... see picture below then check the select box.
4. Click on the Record button 
5. Start playing your audio
6. When the recording is complete, click on the Stop button
7. Edit the recording (Normalize, Trim, etc.) as needed.
